What we guarantee

If a marking we produced to the specification you gave us is cited for a display violation, we remake it free and refund what you paid for the original.

That is the whole guarantee. It is narrow on purpose, because a guarantee you have to squint at is worth less than none.

What that means in practice

You send us your legal name, your USDOT number, and any other line data. We cut it to meet the legibility standard in 49 CFR 390.21 — letters sized to be read from 50 feet in daylight, contrasting sharply with the background — and we document what we cut on the spec sheet in the box.

If an officer cites the display anyway, send us the citation and your order number. We remake the marking and refund the original order. No argument about whose fault it was.

What we do not guarantee

We do not pay your fine. Not the citation, not the out-of-service time, not anything downstream of it. Any seller telling you otherwise is either not reading their own terms or has not been asked to honour them.

We do not guarantee data you gave us. If the USDOT number you sent was wrong, or the name did not match your FMCSA record, the marking is exactly what you asked for. See shipping and returns — we still remake it at half price, but that is a courtesy, not this guarantee.

We do not guarantee state requirements we have not verified. Where a state page says we have not confirmed something, we mean it, and this guarantee does not cover a decision you made on the basis of a gap we told you about.
